Living with Parkinson’s
If you are one of the 12,000 people in Ireland living with Parkinson’s or know someone who is, then don’t miss out on this moving documentary, which will air on RTE on Wednesday 15th April at 11.25pm.
Move4Parkinson‘s, was established in November 2011 by Margaret Mullarney, centre above, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2004. Since her diagnosis, Margaret has discovered that there is a huge range of activities that People with Parkinson’s (PWP’s) can undertake to improve their quality of life.
The indomitable spirit of this incredible group of people in Move4Parkinson’s is both inspirational and up lifting, as they show the world how we can learn to live well with Parkinson’s.
Move4Parkinson’s hope the screening of the documentary will raise awareness of Parkinson’s in Ireland, highlight the challenges faced by those who have Parkinson’s and their families and prove the huge amount that can be achieved through hope, determination and a total commitment to finding the best ways to live well with Parkinson’s today.
