Wellfest line-up revealed
WellFest, Ireland’s only health, fitness and wellness festival, announced it’s 2016 schedule today.
All set for 17th and 18th September in Dublin’s Herbert Park, the festival will feature a line-up of international and Irish stars.
As well as homegrown stars Kathryn Thomas and Bressie, there’s lot of health gurus involved like:
House of Voga founder Juliet Murrell, sets classes to energetic 1980s aerobics beats. She combines traditional yoga poses with “voguing”, which is a dance style originally popularised by Madonna.
Russell Bateman, founder of The Skinny Bitch Collective, the fitness movement made famous by celebrity fans such as Daisy Lowe and Ellie Goulding.
Social entrepreneur Chris Flack, the co-founder of Unplug, a company that runs retreats and workshops to help people develop a better Tech/Life Balance.
“There is no other event like WellFest in Ireland,” said founder Anthony Kelly. “It’s not an expo or a summit; it’s about participation, being active and most importantly having fun as a group. Attendees are actively encouraged to participate in as many activities as possible throughout the weekend. Most importantly we give people the opportunity to try something new and to pick up skills and habits which can help them be healthier and feel better in their daily lives.”
Weekend tickets cost €65, while day passes are available for €40 (plus booking fee). Tickets include unlimited access to classes, talks and workshops on health, fitness, nutrition, cookery, yoga, pilates, mindfulness, and more.
